1. The Program

Peared Social Inc. (“Peared”, “we”, “our”, or “us”), which operates Peared IRL, offers a text messaging program (the “Program”). If you opt in, we may send you:

• Reminders and updates for events you've registered for or bought tickets to.
• Ticket, RSVP, and waitlist confirmations.
• Announcements about new Peared events, perks, and offers.

2. Opting In

You can join the Program by checking the text message consent box wherever we offer it (for example, when you register or buy tickets for an event) or by texting a keyword we publish. After you opt in, we will send you a message confirming your signup.

By opting in, you agree to receive recurring automated marketing and informational text messages from Peared IRL at the mobile number you provided. Consent to receive marketing messages is not a condition of any purchase.

You must be 18 or older to join the Program.

3. Message Frequency and Costs

Message frequency varies based on the events you're attending and your interaction with Peared IRL. We may increase or decrease how often we send messages, and we may change the phone number or short code we send messages from.

Message and data rates may apply. For questions about your text or data plan, contact your mobile carrier.

4. Opting Out

You can cancel at any time by replying STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT to any message. We will send one message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and after that you will not receive further messages. You can also opt out by following an unsubscribe link if one is included in our messages, or by emailing info@peared.io.

To start receiving messages again, opt in the same way you did the first time.

5. Help

Reply HELP to any message at any time for help, or email us at info@peared.io.

6. Carriers

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

7. Changing or Transferring Your Number

Before you change your mobile number or transfer it to someone else, you agree to reply STOP from the original number, unsubscribe using a link in our messages (if one is provided), or tell us your old number at info@peared.io. Letting us know is a condition of using the Program.

8. Privacy

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information may be shared with service providers that help us operate the Program, such as our text messaging platform and customer support. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may change or end the Program, or update these Messaging Terms, at any time. Changes take effect when they are posted on this page. If you do not agree to a change, you can opt out as described above. Staying enrolled after a change means you accept it.
