Peared is an events first social dating app built around real-life experiences. Peared brings people together through curated in-person events, then gives you the app to follow up, reconnect, and explore what is next at your own pace.
Events
Peared hosts curated social events designed to make meeting people natural and fun. Think happy hours, gallery nights, rooftop jazz nights, partner workouts, and other experiences where conversation flows organically. Events are intentionally designed for singles to show up as themselves, not perform for a camera.
You can discover and RSVP to upcoming Peared events directly in the app, or browse upcoming events at peared.io. Events are also launched on Peared IG: @peared.social.
Peared Perks are hand-picked deals at local restaurants, bars, and venues. Think free champagne for you and your date, discounted tickets to jazz nights, and other first-date-friendly offers. They are designed to give you something fun to do after you make a connection.
App Features
Moments let you post real-time updates from your everyday life, like walking your dog, grabbing coffee, or hanging out with friends. Unlike static profile photos, Moments give others genuine context about who you are and how you actually spend your time.
Your account is set up by default as public, which means everyone on the app can see your first moment. However, only your matches can see the rest of the posts if you post more than one moment.
You can set it to Only matches through the settings menu.
At Peared events, you can scan another person's QR code to instantly add them as a connection. It makes the in-person handoff seamless and natural.
The response rate indicator shows how consistently someone responds in conversations. It is designed to build accountability and reduce ghosting, so you can feel more confident before investing your time in a connection.
At Peared, we believe in self-awareness, kindness, and emotional intelligence. We encourage people to communicate when they feel safe and comfortable, without forcing responses, but there are better ways to disengage from someone without ghosting them. Response rate is an objective indicator meant to encourage a healthier dating culture.
If you anticipate you will be busy for certain reasons, you can enter pause mode from settings. If you do not respond to newly received messages within that period, it will not be calculated.
Yes. Peared includes privacy controls that let you hide your profile from coworkers in your phone. You can feel comfortable showing up authentically without worrying about who might see you.

Peared is built with real people and intentional design in mind. The events-first model means you are meeting vetted community members in public, curated settings. The app includes privacy controls, response rate indicators, and reporting tools to keep the community safe and respectful.

Trust your instincts and prioritize safety. If needed, report the user to us, block them, and seek support from local authorities if necessary.
